I finally managed to solve this problem: I put the minimum resolution (320x200) in the window, and I disabled both the steam and the discord overlay. After finishing with the Gambling King Catfight, I reset the normal resolution to fullscreen. I hope this can help those who have the freeze in the Catfight minigame.
